Sample Itineraries

What will your group’s experience look like? We offer a range of options to fit your group’s needs and interests, from slow-paced, low-mileage plans to more challenging routes. Read our sample itineraries for inspiration, then work with our team to create a trip tailored to your clients.

  • Half-day program (4 hours): Spend a morning in Yosemite Valley’s undeveloped west end. Enjoy quiet, scenic hikes; marvel at features such as El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall and Cathedral Rocks; and watch rock-climbers in action on the walls. Throughout the morning, learn about natural and cultural history, from the park’s pioneer days to Sierra Nevada geology, plants and animals.
  • Full-day program (8 hours): Explore the floor of Yosemite Valley. In the morning, visit iconic locations, such as Yosemite Falls; observe plants and animals; look for clues left by powerful glaciers; and spot climbers on the world-famous walls. After a picnic lunch, spend the afternoon learning about American Indian history and the role the National Park Service plays in Yosemite.
