This ‘village’ is assembled from structures that were originally found in different locations throughout the park and moved to Wawona in the 1950’s and 60’s.
Each building represents a different chapter in Yosemite’s story: a Ranger Patrol Cabin, Degnan’s Bakery, Powderhouse, Jail and the Wells Fargo Office.
Take a carriage ride through a covered bridge or watch the blacksmith family fire-up their coals to bend the metal into shape.
Location: Wawona
