Clouds Rest Day Hike

June 28, 2014

From the summit of Clouds Rest, take in one of Yosemite’s most stunning 360-degree panoramic views, while enjoying a hike comparable to Half Dome in intensity. It includes an exhilarating trek on the exposed ridge, with a side trail for those who prefer a bit more cover. Clouds Rest actually ranks as the largest granite face in the park, but your 14-mile hike requires you to ascend only 2,000 of its 9,926 feet. Turn a complete circle, and you’ll see any number of Yosemite landmarks, including Tenaya Lake, Half Dome, Mt. Hoffmann, Sentinel Dome, North Dome, parts of Cathedral Rocks and El Capitan, plus Merced Lake and dozens more peaks you’ll learn about.

Experience package includes camping at Tuolumne Meadows Campground June 27–29 plus entry into Yosemite. Upgrade your package to stay at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls June 27–29.
