Yosemite Photography: High Country Workshop

Experience the vivid landscapes and extraordinary beauty of Yosemite’s high country during this color-photography workshop for all levels. The crest of the Sierra Nevada, with its magnificent views and dramatic formations, provides unparalleled subject matter for photographers. On short day hikes in and above Tuolumne Meadows, we’ll explore the area’s natural history, while capturing stunning images of Yosemite’s vistas. Meet fellow Yosemite-lovers, and share tips and techniques for getting the best out of this remarkable landscape. Your leader’s extensive experience will add a useful professional eye to your work. Both digital and traditional formats are welcome. This program begins on Saturday morning in Tuolumne Meadows and runs through Sunday afternoon.

Experience package includes camping Aug. 15–18 at Tuolumne Meadows Campground plus entry into Yosemite. Upgrade your package to stay at Tuolumne Lodge Aug. 15–18. Peter Hemming

Peter Hemming grew up in Los Angeles and now lives on the Monterey Peninsula. He is a featured Nikon photographer who has been published in hundreds of periodicals and websites around the world. He is a member of the Explorers Club and has extensive experience traveling in the High Sierra, with a particular focus on the Tuolumne Meadows area.
