Watercolor Fundamentals

Capture spring light, shadows and colors in this watercolor class in Yosemite.
April 23, 2018 to April 28, 2018

Spend a day in Yosemite Valley mastering one of art’s most rewarding, challenging mediums: watercolor. Throughout the four-hour class, instructor Trowzers Akimbo will share his tips and feedback, as you paint your interpretations of the stunning surroundings. You’ll learn to see the Valley in a new way, by visualizing features, such as Half Dome or the Merced River, as graphic designs, and using confident brushstrokes to capture the scenery in overlapping shapes and bright colors. End the day with a refreshed perspective and a take-home art piece that offers a fun, fresh look at Yosemite’s classic landscape.
