Reconnect and share your love of Yosemite with fellow adventurers on this special summer reunion.
June 28, 2019 to June 30, 2019

Calling all Outdoor Adventure alums! You’re invited to a special reunion weekend in Tuolumne Meadows. Head to the high country for a Friday-evening campfire, where you can reconnect with old friends from the trail, and meet some new pals who share your love of Yosemite. Over the next two days, you’ll get to enjoy guided day hikes with our expert naturalists, an evening stargazing program, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the solitude and scenery of Tuolumne Meadows in early summer. We hope to see you there!

Included with your registration:

  • An evening program and two full days of exploring Tuolumne Meadows.
  • Park entry (as needed).
  • Camping included, if needed; limited sites are shared among all the participants (reservation arrives Friday, June 28, through Monday, July 1) at Tuolumne Meadows Campground. We cannot adjust these dates.

Note: There is no discount if you choose not to use our gate pass or campsites. Information about upgrading your accommodations to stay at Tuolumne Lodge will be emailed to you after you sign up. The option to upgrade expires 45 days before the program.

Experience Level: Any. Participants must be physically fit.
Hiking: Moderate. Up to 5–6 miles per day.
Elevation Range: 8,600 feet–10,000 feet.

Pete Devine, Yosemite Conservancy Guide

Pete Devine

Pete Devine is the Resident Naturalist for the Conservancy. Pete has lived in Yosemite for about 20 years, has hiked most of its trails, and explained Yosemite to thousands of park visitors. He has studied the Lyell Glacier, added to the park’s bird studies and trained rangers in history, geology and biology. You may have seen Pete’s work in the ‘Yosemite Frazil Ice’ video.

Shirley Spencer

Shirley Spencer is a renowned artist, musician/singer, athlete and educator. She is also the author/illustrator of Yosemite Conservancy’s Flowering Shrubs of Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada and co-author (with her husband Mark) of Southern Yosemite Rock Climbs. Since the 1980s, thousands have been lucky enough to explore Yosemite with Shirley and share her infectious affinity for the outdoors.
