Helping Visitors Enjoy Yosemite
Use your talents to help youth experience Yosemite through our popular art programs. As a volunteer, you provide crucial support to our visitor programs, working hand in hand with our expert staff.
Our program assistants live in the park for a month and work a 32-hour week with time off to explore the park. They receive on-site training by Yosemite Conservancy and the National Park Service, and enjoy free entrance into the park and camping in group campsites. They also receive a 30 percent discount on books and educational materials sold at Yosemite Conservancy bookstores, as well as discounts from the park concessioner in various park locations.
We are now accepting applications for the 2019 season. Please see below for FAQs, a detailed description of the volunteer role and the application form.
